The Community Scroll

The Community scroll is one of the many scrolls found in the Qumran caves. This particular scroll describes the customs and rules for the Qumran community, allowing us a better understanding of how the community lived their lives.

The Qumran scrolls have made a great impact on our studies of Judaism in the early antiquity period in Palestine, and changed how we understand and view the Biblical texts.
